It's been a long time since my last update! As you may have noticed, there's a new design. I started college in October and finished my first quarter in December. I've uploaded my favorite artwork from my first quarter. All of it is in the 2D Art section.

I start my second quarter next week. Unfortunately, I probably won't update the website for another three months.

Sorry for not updating sooner, I spent the summer in NY and didn't have time to update before I left, then I've been busy getting ready for college. While in NY, I did a few sketches for my portfolio for college. So, I added most of my sketches to the 2D page, but I didn't work on the Game Character. I figured out that when I went to sculpt it something went wrong, and I would have to redo it. I don't know when my next update will be, but when I start college I will be updating the site with that any artwork I finish there.

I've already finished a couple of introduction tutorials and I plan on making a couple of things on my own, and then moving on to more intermediate training.

As you may have noticed, I've decided to change my website's name to Jr.Who Art. I've done so for a couple of reasons. The main one being that the focus of my work is more in art than animation now. And "Jr.Who Art" is shorter than "Jr.Who Animations".

There is a new section on the site called Tutorials. I have been wanting to create some free video tutorials on Maya for a while, and have finally finished my first one: "Maya FAQ". For more info on it visit the Tutorials page.

Also, I finally have ZBrush 3 up and running! I've been doing some training, and I should have some sketches up within the next couple of weeks.

Well, like usual, I ran into some problems while texturing the Apache. Not only did the tutor use an insane texturing method, but I couldn't follow it for technicals reasons. I would like to go about and finish the texturing myself sometime, but right now I'm too mad at Maya and don't feel like working on it.

Fortunately, ZBrush 3 for Mac was just released! I should get it soon (hopefully within a week, but it might take a lot longer). Once I get it, I'll be learning how to use it and should update shortly after with some quick sketches.

Also, I've created a new logo for the website. Click here if you would like to see it.

Again, sorry for the long delay. I decided to stop working on the Chess Match project for several reasons, one of them being that Maxwell isn't used in the game industry, so I figured it's just a waste of time to learn. I did start a new project, though (Apache W.I.P.).

ZBrush 3 for Mac has finally received a launch date (September 29). I'm hoping I can get the Apache project finished by then, because right after it comes out, I'm going to switch over to learning it. I might be able to get the Apache textured within 2 weeks, but there always seems to be delays…

I did start up another project, but never had the time to post up the W.I.P. pics of it. So, there's a new Maya project (Ferrari), an updated poll, and I've changed some small things around the site.

Maxwell just started working again about a week ago, so I'm going to try and finish up the Chess Match project.

It was nice to model something without a tut, and I can't wait to start the texturing on it. I don't know how long it will be till my next update, as I'm going to be busy for the next couple of weeks. Plus, I'm going to be learning how to use a new application (Maxwell Render) for the rendering of this project.
